Gillian McMillan:

In partnership with VirgoDesign, NinerNet has helped artist Gillian McMillan launch a new, vibrant website with a database back-end that allows for easy updating of her portfolio.

NinerNet Communications has been providing IT-related services since 1996. While we have a broad range of competencies and experience in a number of different industries, we focus on hosting and activities related to hosting. We do not design or create websites, but we do program applications that can be used to support websites and which can be used to automate or monitor server- and Web-based activity.

Craig Hartnett

Craig Hartnett has worked as a contractor or been self-employed for all of his adult life. In 1991 he completed a diploma in general studies at the University of the Fraser Valley in their aviation programme, with a focus on business studies. Since 1992 he has provided contracted consulting services in varying fields, including such industries as aviation, ground transportation, logistics, and training.

His focus since 1996 has been the IT field. His start in this business came through contacts with what was the Deep Cove Bulletin Board System, which evolved to become Deep Cove Online, one of the first Internet service providers in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia. Deep Cove was purchased by Hookup Communications, and Craig moved on to found his own company -- WOW! M@rketing -- the same year. Two years later, WOW! evolved from a web-design and hosting firm into a newly-named company focused primarily on serving the hosting needs of a growing client base -- NinerNet Communications.

Through NinerNet, Craig continues to provide standard web-hosting services, as well as meeting the specialised hosting needs of a number of organisations, including such diverse companies as satellite ISPs and mining companies in southern Africa, to mom-and-pop outfits in Vancouver.
